For the records, the General’s claim that “Ibrahim Traore is using the country’s gold reserves for personal protection rather than for the benefit of its people” is totally incorrect. If you counter cross the allegation with the facts on the grounds, from free housing projects, massive infrastructure, factories and socially friendly policies drastically reducing cost of living in the country among many others, the statement does not hold water. The agenda is clear; they hate to see development in African countries.
Just last week, Captain Traore accused Ivory Coast of harbouring assassins who attempted to kill him.
